Stereo Matching and Object Detection on DRP
As part of our continuous commitment to innovation in embedded vision and AI technologies, we present this technical demonstration running on the AI.DEV RZ/V2H development kit. The system is based on the TIA RZ/V2H System-on-Module, powered by the Renesas RZ/V2H processor.
The setup performs stereo matching by processing dual camera inputs to calculate disparity and depth maps, enabling precise 3D scene reconstruction. In parallel, object detection algorithms are executed to identify and localize multiple objects within each frame.
Both tasks are efficiently accelerated using the Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor (DRP) and embedded AI accelerators integrated in the RZ/V2H device. This configuration ensures high-performance, low-latency image processing optimized for embedded environments with stringent power and space requirements.
This demonstration highlights the capabilities of the Engicam AI.DEV RZ/V2H kit as a robust and flexible hardware platform for developing advanced AI-based vision solutions, suitable for industrial automation, robotics, and intelligent systems.
