SMARTIO is an industrial I/O controller, designed for Edge computing applications that require security, reliability, and advanced firmware lifecycle management. The platform is intended for mission-critical industrial environments and integration into distributed IoT architectures, ensuring interoperability and scalability.

SMARTIO is a flexible and fully programmable industrial I/O platform designed to operate across ARM and x86 architectures. The system provides native Linux driver support for both ARM and x86 platforms, along with dedicated Windows drivers for x86 environments, ensuring seamless integration into heterogeneous industrial systems. A cross-platform smart configuration tool is available for ARM and x86 architectures, enabling streamlined setup, parameterization, and deployment.
The device is fully configurable via application software, allowing system integrators to tailor behavior, I/O mapping, and operational logic directly at the software level without hardware modifications. Firmware is upgradable, ensuring long-term maintainability, feature evolution, and alignment with evolving security and system requirements.

SMARTIO integrates a versatile industrial-grade hardware architecture designed for flexible and reliable I/O operations in demanding environments. The platform supports multiple command interfaces, enabling seamless integration with diverse control and automation systems.
It provides 8 independent, fully configurable input/output channels, allowing each I/O to be tailored for the specific application. Outputs can be configured as push-pull or open-drain, while inputs support configurable pull-ups for dry contact connections. Additionally, Vil and Vih thresholds for inputs are adjustable, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of sensor and signal types.
The device operates over a broad voltage range of 9–32V, making it suitable for deployment in varied industrial power environments while maintaining stability and performance.
